This recipe app has over 700 options but sadly is only available for Canadian BlackBerry PlayBook owners. If you do happen to be in Canada then President's Choice Recipe Box is worth checking out with features including:

RIM Wins In Court Case Over BBM Trademark Posted: 01 Jun 2012 08:58 AM PDT
We told you awhile back that BBM Canada (Bureau of Broadcast Measurement) sued RIM over using their BBM Trademark. I predicted back then that the case would be thrown out or ruled in RIM's favor since the trademark is for a company that measures Canadian TV and Radio audiences. The Federal Court of Canada confirmed that RIM did not infringe on BBM Canada's trademark. This is a nice reprieve for RIM since BBM Canada wanted RIM to pay them to change their name. Either way isn't it nice when the court systems actually do something that makes sense instead of all this patent nonsense? Cook Up a Storm With the Free Cooklet Culinary Guide Posted: 01 Jun 2012 07:07 AM PDT
Cooklet has released a slick culinary app for the BlackBerry platform that they keep updating. If I remember correctly the app came out of BlackBerry 10 Jam in Orlando and has seen continuous updates since. It gives you access to food lovers around the world to share cooking experiences. It has an interactive cookbooks library and different ways to find recipes. Check out Cooklet free in App World If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Quite a few of you participated on the contest and ContactMonkey has chosen a winner. The winner William Archer has already been contacted by the sponsors (ContactMonkey). Congratulations again to William for winning the contest. If you are not familiar with ContactMonkey it is the easiest way to share your contact information in all the most popular formats, giving the receiver the choice to download the information on their preferable format, including mobile devices. Televisa Derportes Now Available For the BlackBerry PlayBook Posted: 01 Jun 2012 05:55 AM PDT Over the last two years I seen an increase support from Spanish/Latino media for the BlackBerry platform. The Televisa group is a Mexican multimedia company one of the largest in Latin America, and now they have launched a slick looking application for the BlackBerry PlayBook. Univision is the largest Latino T.V network in the US and it was one of the first to offer their Sports application for sports aficionados around this time last year. One of the really interesting things about their application is the fact that they took their time to also provide the user with a short user guide that includes gestures to get the most out of the app. The home page includes the latest sports news, if you swipe down the app brings a carrousel that allows you to switch between video content, FĂștbol (Soccer), News, and a picture gallery. The app loads content pretty fast including videos and it plays within a popup window within the app, and pictures load fast you can swipe to browse the image galleries. If they could only integrate live streaming of major sporting events that would be cool, though the PlayBook can stream live video directly from the websites. NOTE: The app is only in Spanish and offers news about all the major sports. Download the app for free at the following link. If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:
