Angry Birds Space Updated To v1.2.1 Posted: 14 Jun 2012 04:03 AM PDT Rovio has gifted PlayBook pig pummelers with another update for Angry Birds Space, so get slinging and let us know what’s new in the comments! It’s good to see continued support from Rovio in the PlayBook gamespace. Having the support of this gaming giant should encourage other development houses to get onboard and dig into BB10. The success of BB10 is resting solidly on the developer community, and not just for games, so come on, folks! Get on board! If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

They have just launched a beta of the free poker game for the BlackBerry PlayBook in App World. This is the same game they demoed for us at BlackBerry World though it is still in beta. That means featuers are being added every day. On the other hand this is the same awesome poker game and free daily chips you are used to. Features include:

BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 Extended Battery Now Available from Seidio (3000mAh) Posted: 13 Jun 2012 01:16 PM PDT
We told you earlier that Seidio was close to releasing a new extended battery for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930. They contacted us earlier today and now Dave pointed out to me that the battery is available for purchase. You can now get the Seidio Innocell 3000mAh Super Extended Life Battery for the Bold 9900 for $69.95. It should offer you about double the battery life of the standard battery but it does take away NFC capabilities. Check out the Innocell 3000mAh Super Extended Life Battery here on Seidio's website and stay tuned for a review shortly! If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Meet New People With Badoo On Your BlackBerry Posted: 13 Jun 2012 10:55 AM PDT
I have never used Badoo but they have been plastering the NYC subways with advertisements recently. The Badoo social network promises to help you meet new people from its 150 million users and hit it off. They will just point you in the right direction and it is all up to you from there on out. We take no responsibility if you end up meeting a new ax wielding ninja with pink hair or anything like that… so consider yourself warned. Check out the free Badoo app in App World or find more info at www.badoo.com If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

The app is a port of the very popular open source Stellarium project and is being continually updated by the Stellarium Group for the PlayBook. Since we mentioned it the app has gone through a few updates with the latest adding support for pinch to zoom and direct time change through a dialog. Features include:

"Making of the QNX Jeep Wrangler" Posted by the QNX Auto Team Posted: 13 Jun 2012 08:06 AM PDT
In case you haven't noticed I am pretty impressed with the latest Jeep Wrangler QNX CAR 2 Reference Vehicle. I used to always want a Wrangler but now it is even more enticing. Now all I want to see is a QNX CAR 2 motorcycle or Vespa. Check out the video below: Desktop Video Link | Mobile Video LinkIf you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Marmalade Releases A Boatload of New PlayBook Games Posted: 13 Jun 2012 06:57 AM PDT
I am not sure exactly how this slipped by me but one of my favorite PlayBook game developers, Marmalade, has a bunch of new PlayBook games in App World. Some of them seem to have been released in the last month (some a bit more) but have mostly flown under the radar. Either way they are definitely worth mentioning. I am still going through them myself so let us know if you spot any gems.
Here are the latest ones I spotted:

RIM Hiring Two JavaScript Developers in Ontario – Apply Now! Posted: 13 Jun 2012 05:55 AM PDT
I know some other news outlets have been covering possible layoffs at RIM but Thorsten Heins has been clear that RIM is still hiring in departments working on BlackBerry 10. Adam Stanley from RIM's developer relations team drove that point home this week by highlighting two new job openings for JavaScript developers out in Mississauga, Ontario. One is for a team lead for BlackBerry WebWorks and another is for a software developer for the WebKit engine. Check out the details on the two jobs on the DevBlog along with many more over on the RIM careers website. Hell I would even apply myself but I have grown attached to Manhattan. Here are the two listings:
