BlackBerry 10 Adobe AIR SDK Beta Released Posted: 15 Jun 2012 12:37 PM PDT
RIM is really following through with their promises at least on the developer angle. They said that the BlackBerry 10 Adobe AIR SDK beta was coming shortly when they launched the other SDKs and here it is. James let us know that the BlackBerry Adobe AIR website now lists the new BlackBerry 10 SDK. There is no official word on the BlackBerry Developer Blog yet but I am assuming something is coming soon. Check out the new BlackBerry 10 Adobe AIR SDK Beta here If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Free Modern Combat 2 and Asphalt 6 PlayBook Promotion Ending Soon! Posted: 15 Jun 2012 10:53 AM PDT
Gameloft and RIM have been offering two sweet PlayBook games for free since PlayBook OS 2.0 launched as a limited time promotion. I heard from one of our contacts at RIM that the promotion time period is coming to an end. That means after June 21st the games will no longer be free. That means that if you have not already done so you should head on down to App World and download Asphalt 6 Adrenaline HD and Modern Combat 2 Black Pegasus HD. Porting WebOS Enyo Apps to the PlayBook and BlackBerry 10 Posted: 15 Jun 2012 08:56 AM PDT
A bit back RIM released a guide for WebOS developers helping them bring their WebApps to the PlayBook but it sort of glossed over Enyo in favor of straight HTML5. Now RIM has gone back and is working on updating their guide for bringing Enyo apps too since both Enyo 1.0 and 2.0 are open source. Obviously both of those frameworks are part of WebOS and hold their design styles but I have already seen a few apps successfully make the jump to the PlayBook and BlackBerry 10. Enyo is also possible to run on BlackBerry smartphones but it really pushes the memory limits with Enyo v1.0 though you may have some luck with Enyo 2.0. Either way if you have an Enyo app and are looking for more opportunities check out this post from Tim W @RIM along with his Enyo Style Matters sample PlayBook/BB10 app. If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:
