BlackBerry PlayBook File Browser App Adds Beta FTP Support Posted: 06 Jun 2011 02:32 AM PDT The feature full File Browser app by Aftab for the BlackBerry PlayBook got a nice Beta update. The new version 2.1.2 adds some preliminary FTP file transfer support. Currently the app only allows you to download files from an FTP server but an upcoming update is going to add the ability to upload files. So far the $0.99 app has some pretty slick features and has a slick look but they are promising future updates that will add the ability to:

Sprint Wi-Fi BlackBerry PlayBook Available Online – in Stores Today Posted: 05 Jun 2011 11:30 AM PDT Well the time has come for the first major US carrier to start selling the BlackBerry PlayBook. While we are all waiting for the 4G versions of the device this is only the Wi-Fi version in the 16GB flavor from Sprint. They are already selling it on their website for $499 at this link though they issued a press release with RIM over the weekend saying it will go on sale. Supposedly starting today you will find the PlayBook in Sprint stores, online, and through telesales. Check out the announcement at this link!
