RIM is once again making a big splash at Mobile World Congress. RIM just started making their presence at MWC in 2010 with Mike Lazaridis giving a keynote. Now 2 years later RIM seems to have their method down running their own Developer Day which has been popular over the years along with a sweet booth. Josep pointed out to me that RIM has launched their own Microsite for MWC this year. From there you can find all the details on RIM's MWC updates on Twitter, Facebook, and more.

Check out the minisite at uk.blackberry.com/mwc12/. The hottest page is the "Follow Us Live" page that gives you a snapshot of what is currently going on. They also have their presentations going live on Slideshare and pictures on Flickr.

Mobile World Congress Starts Today in Barcelona!

In the next few days you will probably be bombarded with loads of tech news. In case you have not heard it is the GSMA Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona this week (Starting TODAY!) which means there are tons of companies out there showing off how they are planning on pushing mobile further and displaying their wares. There are rumors that RIM might have some BlackBerry 10 goodness to show off but we will know more soon!

Zinio Launching on PlayBook in Mid March With Loads of Magazines in tow!

We have told you quite a few times that Zinio was bringing their hugely popular magazine subscription app to the PlayBook soon. Well it looks like the wait is almost over. Ali Madan asked @Zinio on Twitter when they would be launching on the BlackBerry PlayBook and you can see their response above. I am hoping we are talking March 1st-5th but either way I will be happy.
