Doodle Shapes Physics Game for the BlackBerry PlayBook Posted: 20 Apr 2012 03:04 PM PDT
I am always a sucker for physics games and the latest one I have been playing is Doodle Shapes. This seems to be Andrey Chaporov's first PlayBook game and its addictive. You have to guide the blue ball to its destination by drawing lines and objects to help it along. It will then follow your path and hopefully reach its destination. There is a free trial available that gives you a few levels after which you can pick up the full version with 40 levels for $0.99. If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Devs: JsonCpp C++ JSON Parser Ported to BlackBerry 10 Posted: 20 Apr 2012 12:55 PM PDT
There are quite a few devs out there working on Native SDK apps for the PlayBook and BlackBerry 10 devices. That is why I thought it worthwhile to mention that RIM has upped the number of their GitHub repositories to 48 now with the addition of JsonCpp. This is a port of the popular C++ JSON parser (website | documentation) to run on QNX and maintained by RIM. Check out the repository here. Kudos to Pelegri for pointing it out! If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Balloon Gunner 3D Game for the PlayBook (3D Cyan Glasses) Posted: 20 Apr 2012 10:54 AM PDT I am always looking for some solid games for my PlayBook and Balloon Gunner 3D by LanguageBug is my latest favorite. DJohnson let us know about this recently released game (via CrackBerry) and I have been playing it all night. The game has you flying around in a balloon to save the islands of your empire. You navigate your world using the sometimes jerky controls but it really gets interesting once you don a pair of red+cyan glasses for some 3D action. Check out Balloon Gunner 3D for $0.99 in App World. Check out the video demo below to get an idea of the game: Desktop Video Link | Mobile Video LinkIf you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

OS 7.1.0.402 Leaked for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 & 9930, Curve 9370, and Torch 9810, 9850, & 9860 Posted: 20 Apr 2012 08:10 AM PDT A large trove of BlackBerry OS leaks just made it through with OS 7.1.0.402. This includes new updates for the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 along with the Torch 9810, 9850, and 9860 along with the BlackBerry Curve 9370. This is the latest OS variant we have seen for them so I am sure we will be finding some goodies in there. Kudos to ALKi3 on CB Forums for posting these leaks:
Warning: This OS will not install on any other BlackBerry besides the one mentioned above and is not an official release. If you do not know how to upgrade your BlackBerry OS please start by reading this step by step guide.Don't forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device. Don't forget our usual warnings: do not download and install these updates if you don't know what you're doing. Free Tarot Card Reader App Promises to Help Solve Your Problems Posted: 20 Apr 2012 07:55 AM PDT I have never really been that interested in Tarot cards but they are relatively popular. SRID Games is capitalizing on that with their Free Tarot Card Reader app in App World. The app includes all the 78 cards and four major spreads that should hopefully help solve your problem with one click. Hell it might even make you think that your BlackBerry is truly divine… Check out Tarot Card Reader free in App World for OS 4.5+ devices If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

PewPew 2 The Sequel Brings More Shoot ’em Up Fun to the PlayBook Posted: 20 Apr 2012 07:03 AM PDT
PewPew originally launched on the PlayBook back in February with a free version of their game. Now the popular game is back with a sequel called PewPew 2. This new update offers even more PewPew fun but will cost you $2.99. Personally I would have rather seen them make the new levels available for in app purchase in the original but hey its still pretty solid. Check out PewPew 2 in App World for $2.99 If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:
