Free PicStory 2.0 Wants You To Create a Story with Your Photos Posted: 07 Mar 2012 01:55 AM PST Dalia let us know about a cool app called PicStory (via BBNews.pl) that was just updated to v2.0. This app from Risto Mobile Solutions wants users to create a story out of their pictures and share it with others. They make it easy to frame your pictures into a story and then share them on BBM. You can then view your friends stories and like or comment on their pictures. Check out PicStory free in App World for OS 5.0+ BlackBerry Smartphones No related posts. Union Brings AirAttack Combat Shooter to the BlackBerry PlayBook! Posted: 06 Mar 2012 11:25 AM PST Union just brought one of slickest mobile air combat fighter games to the PlayBook. AirAttack is now available in App World from Art in Games using the Union engine. There are 8 awesome missions to fly through with loads of weapons to plow through the enemy warships. You will also find that you can destroy just about everything with the weapons you collect. I find the game also gets better as you move to higher difficulty levels. Check out AirAttack in App World for $2.99 or watch the cross platform trailer below: Desktop Video Link | Mobile Video LinkIf you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

From what we are hearing this promotion is US only for now as a test case to see how well it would work for a possible global launch. RIM really picked some solid apps like BeWeather and Fixmo Tools for their BlackBerry 7 upgrade incentive. Here are some of the included apps in the promotion that runs until May 31st:
You can find the free apps from your BlackBerry 7 device by searching "Compliments of BlackBerry" in App World. I am sure RIM will have a category setup for it soon. If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Free Save the Island Strategy Game for BlackBerry Smartphones Posted: 06 Mar 2012 07:55 AM PST Save the Island is a very challenging new strategy game from Ajani Infotech. It is a remake of the classic PC web game and really puts your mind to work. You play the part of a tribal warlord in this game where you fight off intruders. The game is really easy to pick up and put down once you get the hang of it. Its hard to describe how the gameplay works but the screenshots in App World walk you through the tutorial. You can pick up Save the Island free in App World for OS 4.6+ BlackBerry smartphones. If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

PlayBook WebWorks Swipedown Menu Javascript Micro-Framework (Swipemenu.js) Posted: 06 Mar 2012 07:01 AM PST One of the things WebWorks developers on the PlayBook have been struggling with since launch is implementing a proper swipe down menu. RIM has offered some help with that over time and now they have taken things one step further with a micro-framework Javascript library called Swipemenu.js. It allows PlayBook WebWorks developers to easily integrate and customize a swipe down menu on the PlayBook. Check out Swipemenu.js in RIM's Github repository or the announcement on RIM's opensource blog. If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:
