Official OS 6.0.0.706 BlackBerry Torch 9800 released by Vodafone New Zealand

With all the BlackBerry 7 devices coming out users with BlackBerry 6 devices are still getting some love. BBROcks spotted OS 6.0.0.706 for BlackBerry Torch 9800 from Vodafone New Zealand. No word on how solid this OS is but if you were waiting for an update then check it out!

Download OS 6.0.0.706 @ BlackBerry.com

Warning: This OS will not install on any other BlackBerry besides the one mentioned above. Don't forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device. If you do not know how to upgrade your BlackBerry OS please start by reading this step by step guide.

BlackBerry Protect Updated to v1.1.1.50 – For OS7 Only

RIM has pushed out a new update for BlackBerry Protect on OS7 devices. BlackBerry Protect v1.1.1.50 is now available for you to download in App World.
There's no other changelog. If you spot something new do let us know what it is. Again, this update is only for those running OS 7.

Official RIM IM Clients leaked to v2.5.119 & Documents to Go v3.0.0.201

You can sometimes count on OS leaks to bring some fun surprises to the party. Thanks to @rroyy we have Google Talk, Windows Live Messenger, and Yahoo Messenger updated to v2.5.119. He has setup some OTA download OTA links but have only been reported to work with OS 6 and OS 7. Documents To Go is only reported to work with OS 7. Still you should only install this if you are willing to deal with the consequences if it goes bad… :)
