32GB MicroSDHC Class 10 Memory Cards Starting at $42 Shipped! Posted: 04 Jan 2012 01:53 AM PST I have been waiting for 32GB MicroSDHC Class 10 cards to finally dip below $50 and Tony let me know that they have. Amazon has two great deals on 32GB MicroSDHC cards with both of them under $50. There have been tons of Class 2 and Class 4 cards available but the 2/Mbps and 4/Mbps speeds were pitiful when it came to transferring videos. Now the Class 10 MicroSDHC cards with their 10/Mbps speeds are here and I have to say I am loving my Patriot Signature! Here are the two deals I have found on Class 10 MicroSDHC cards on Amazon. I prefer Amazon because of their liberal return policies but let us know if you find them cheaper!
If you don't care about transfer speeds (they only really matter if you are transferring from your PC) then you should take a look at the Class 4 cards which go for about ~$30. If you are not sure what the story is with memory card speeds you can read our previous article explaining them. If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

As convenient and portable as the tablet is, I need it to occasionally be standing up in front of me. After all our TV’s and our monitors don’t lie flat on our tables and desks. There are a few specific places where this would be quite helpful, namely the kitchen and the bathroom. This is where the Pad Bracket comes into play. Although marketed towards the iPad, the Pad Bracket can hold any device that fits within. As the Playbook is slightly thicker at the bottom than the iPad is, the Playbook doesn’t insert the entire way, however it’s definitely sturdy, and also leans back against the wall. At no point did I feel worried that my Playbook was not safe in the Pad Bracket. After using the Pad Bracket for the last week or two, I’ve found it very useful in the kitchen for having recipes pulled up while cooking, watching videos while cleaning dishes, and the overall comfort of having my “tech toys” with me and easily accessible in another place. I’m looking forward to getting a second one to hang up on the bathroom wall as well. As seen in the additional pictures below, the Pad Bracket holds the Playbook either vertically or horizontally, also quite handy. Overall the Pad Bracket has been very convenient and I would highly suggest you get one or two for those spots that would just be perfect to have your tablet in front of you around your home. Although you may feel like taking any piece of plastic and attempting your own contraption to save a few bucks, I believe the Pad Bracket is worth the comfort you get in knowing that your tablet is being held well.

Photo Booth 360 HD Released for the BlackBerry PlayBook Posted: 03 Jan 2012 12:39 PM PST There have been a few Photo Booth apps for BlackBerry Smartphones but this is the first I have seen for the BlackBerry PlayBook. Eddy Liu has released Photo Booth 360 HD for the PlayBook this weekend and it really fits the bill. It allows you to easily squeeze out the nice photo booth style pics in seconds and is quite fun to use. It also applies filters much faster than you can on BlackBerry smartphones. Features include:
You can find Photo Booth 360 HD in App World for $2.99 If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Rumored BlackBerry 10 Milan Slider Concept Rumored to be Cancelled Posted: 03 Jan 2012 10:39 AM PST Say it aint so! We first saw the BlackBerry 10 Milan Slider concept phone in a render earlier this month. I have heard so many conflicting reports about this device that it does not amaze me that Lucas @N4BB heard that it has been cancelled. Who knows what the true story but we have been hearing these codenames ranging from Lisbon to Black Forest and Nevada to Colt with Milan thrown in for good measure. What RIM truly needs is a classic BlackBerry QWERTY form factor BlackBerry 10 device and they need to launch it now… Anybody else hoping there is a codename GodBerry? RIM Possibly Changing Co-Chairmen CEO’s With New Chair Posted: 03 Jan 2012 07:45 AM PST
There has been a ton of pressure on RIM and their board to shake things up this past year and it is continuing into 2012. Currently RIM's Co-CEO's Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie are both chairmen of the RIM board. Shareholders requested to change this up awhile back but instead agreed to an inquiry with a later decision. That decision has a deadline of January 31st so we should be hearing more soon. The current rumor out of the Financial Post is that RIM is planning on announcing a new independent chairman Barbara Stymiest who has been on RIM's board since 2007. She is one of the seven on the RIM board who have been examining the boards structure and looking at possible changes. Either way we will probably be hearing soon on what is coming from RIM's board. From what we have heard so far RIM is intensifying its focus on BB10 but 2012 is a key year for them. What do you think? If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Verizon Decides To Not Charge $2 Fee for Online Payments Posted: 03 Jan 2012 05:45 AM PST
You have to love how these sort of things play out. We told you before the holiday weekend that Verizon was planning on charging a $2 fee per payment for one time online and phone payments unless you had autopay setup. I just want to listen to a recording from the board room that though this would go over well. I don't think execs realize that customers are pissed off when carriers keep on trying to nickel and dime them with fees yet still claim to charge $39.99 or whatever per line. Well in case you didn't hear it over the weekend Verizon decided to backtrack on this idiotic fee which was designed to Verizon Wireless Will Not Institute Single Payment FeeMedia Contact Info Tom Pica 12/30/2011 Verizon Wireless has decided it will not institute the fee for online or telephone single payments that was announced earlier this week. The company made the decision in response to customer feedback about the plan, which was designed to improve the efficiency of those transactions. The company continues to encourage customers to take advantage of the numerous simple and convenient payment methods it provides. "At Verizon, we take great care to listen to our customers. Based on their input, we believe the best path forward is to encourage customers to take advantage of the best and most efficient options, eliminating the need to institute the fee at this time," said Dan Mead, president and chief executive officer of Verizon Wireless.
