N4BB scored OS 7.1.0.190 for the BlackBerry Curve 9360 which brings it up to date with its top shelf BlackBerry 7 brethren. No word on how well this new build works but definitely worth checking out! Download OS 7.1.0.190 for the Curve 9360 @ Fileserve Warning: This OS will not install on any other BlackBerry besides the one mentioned above and is not an official release. If you do not know how to upgrade your BlackBerry OS please start by reading this step by step guide.Don't forget to delete the vendor.xml file located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device. Yet Another PlayBook OS 2.0 Walkthrough Video Posted: 11 Jan 2012 10:30 AM PST Just a week ago we would have jumped through hoops for a demo of PlayBook OS 2.0. Now we have them all over the place! Timmy spotted a demo walkthrough done by Engadget with higher quality video and pictures. They did say that the BlackBerry Bridge was acting up but everything else including the Android Player worked like a charm. Check it out below:

OnStar RemoteLink for the PlayBook makes an appearance at the QNX booth Posted: 11 Jan 2012 08:52 AM PST Most of the showcasing from CES 2012 we have done so far has been from RIM. This morning Kevin from CrackBerry ventured to the reverse side of the BlackBerry booth to see the people over at QNX. And to our pleasure they were showing off an OnStar app. It is loaded with great features such as remote start, trip mapping as well as being to lock and unlock the vehicles doors. Best part, this is written in HTML5 and will run on other BlackBerry devices and not just the PlayBook. Video after the link! PlayBook OS 2.0 Print To Go App Caught on Video Posted: 11 Jan 2012 08:11 AM PST
We have heard a few rumblings that RIM was working on a mobile printing app for the PlayBook and it looks like it is coming with PlayBook OS 2.0. Kevin @CrackBerry scored a video demo of the upcoming app from Jeff Gadway @RIM during CES. This app really has some great visual flare that gives you an idea of what TAT is adding with their Cascades engine. The Print To Go app essentially allows you to print from your playbook through your computer. No word on if it supports Mac along with Windows but hopefully there is broad support. Check out the video and let us know what you think! Desktop Video Link | Mobile Video LinkIf you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Another Great PlayBook OS 2.0 Walkthrough Video Posted: 11 Jan 2012 06:30 AM PST We posted a few videos of PlayBook OS 2.0 from CES but a friend pointed out that they were not the best quality. That is why I was happy to see The Verge do a really nice wrap up video with Jeff Gadway showing off the new PlayBook OS 2.0 features. I am loving the rich text editor for email along with the combined contact cards. I am really impressed with what RIM has done so far. I am also digging the idea of using the PlayBook as a media center using my BlackBerry as a mouse. Anybody else seeing the potential there? Check it out for yourself below and let us know if you spot more videos! Desktop Video Link | Mobile Video LinkIf you liked this article, you might find these interesting:

Sideload FCEUXpb to Play Nintendo NES Games on your BlackBerry PlayBook Posted: 11 Jan 2012 05:15 AM PST The POSIX compliant native SDK on the PlayBook keeps on spurring up some great apps. The latest is a porting of FCEUX in what he calls FCEUXPB which brings the classic Nintendo NES games to the BlackBerry PlayBook. Since RIM obviously will not be allowing this app in App World you have to sideload it but it works like a charm. Desktop Video Link | Mobile Video LinkKudos to Trevor Nunes aka FroggyFace for working on the port. You can read more about it on CrackBerry Forums or GitHub along with a nice set of instructions from OSBB. If you liked this article, you might find these interesting:
